Types:

  • 4 way  is a pallet with blocks along 4 sides to pick up.
  • 2 way is a pallet with beams along 2 sides to pick up

There are different types of pallets, each with a specific application:

  • Euro pallets (EPAL): Standard size of 80×120 cm, widely used in Europe.
  • Block pallets: Sturdy pallets with an open bottom, suitable for heavy loads.
  • CP pallets: Chemical pallets, especially for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Plastic pallets: Durable and suitable for hygienic sectors such as the food industry.
  • One-way pallets: Cheap single-use pallets, often lighter and less strong.

Heavy goods require strong and durable pallets. Wooden pallets are the best choice for this, as they have a high load capacity. Euro pallets (EPAL) and CP pallets are often used for heavy loads. Especially CP3, CP5 and CP9 pallets are suitable for heavy products such as drums and bagged goods.

Block pallets are also a good option. These pallets have a sturdy construction and can handle a lot of weight. Plastic pallets can also be suitable for heavy loads, especially if they are made of extra strong material.
