A Europallet or EPAL pallet is a wooden pallet with dimensions and specifications defined by the European Pallet Association. The abbreviation for these pallets is therefore EPAL. If the pallet meets the EPAL standard you will see this printed on the pallet. This strict standardization of the EPAL license guarantees that all dimensions and specifications are correct.

The dimensions are 800 × 1200 × 144 millimeters and the payload is 1500 kilograms. Incidentally, the EPAL also certifies pallets with other dimensions and load capacity. The pallet consists of 5 top shelves, 9 bobbins and three bottom shelves. EPAL’s license number can be found on the left and right bobbin of the pallet.
